No More Email Viruses Revolutionary New Email Filter Finally Puts |
Los Angeles, CA - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Triumvirate Technologies, Inc. today announced the highly anticipated release of Mailbox FilterTM (www.mailboxfilter.com), a revolutionary new email filtering program that ends unwanted junk mail, stops attachments from unleashing dangerous email viruses, and puts users back in control of their inboxes. Unlike other email filter programs that attempt to block unwanted mail with their own complicated rejection rules, Mailbox Filter's unique "positive acceptance" filter technology stops spam dead in its tracks by giving users the ability to determine what mail they want to receive, instead of trying to figure out what mail they don't. Mailbox Filter also comes with advanced anti-virus protection that allows users to safely look at any message before accepting it, and neutralize any potentially harmful email attachments before they enter a user's system. "Mailbox Filter finally turns the tide on spammers who have been mercilessly clogging inboxes for years, as well as putting an end to the danger of attachment-transmitted viruses," says Triumvirate Technologies CEO Robert Hernandez. "Our technology is so powerful and yet so simple to use, that we believe problems with unsolicited mail will become a thing of the past." Unique Filtering Technology Mailbox Filter uses several levels of authentication to identify, sort and dispose of junk mail before it ever gets a chance to enter the user's email program or have access to their computer system. Each email collected is automatically put through a "junk mail test" based on compliances with standard email protocols, whether or not the Sender is on the user's Authorized Address List or has a "private key" that allows inbox access. Mail is also checked against other user defined lists to determine whether it gets routed directly into the Authorized mailbox, Junk mailbox, Unknown mailbox (the kind of mail easily mis-tagged as junk mail by other systems) or accepted at all. Once the mail has been tested and properly routed, users can chose to Accept, Reject (Delete), Forward and Store messages (or set up automatic routing) from the program's Control Center. "I was impressed," says IBM User Group president and product evaluator Steve Bass. "Mailbox Filter is a super email filter--substantially more powerful than Brightmail. It really does give me the power of determining what gets into my mailbox." Advanced Anti-Virus Protection Because mail is opened in email programs that have direct system access, dangerous and disruptive viruses can automatically enter a user's computer and be transmitted to other systems. With Mailbox Filter's advanced anti-virus protection, users never have to worry about mistakenly opening and spreading viruses such as "I Love You", "Love Bug" or "Melissa" again. All incoming mail is "viewed" by users in a completely protected environment that neutralizes potentially harmful messages and prevents attachments from self-opening. Once the user determines that an attachment is safe, it can be reactivated. "Viral-laden email attachments have caused tremendous damage to companies and consumers around the world," says Hernandez. "Because new viruses are created daily, it's impossible for anti-virus companies to keep users 100% safe. Mailbox Filter takes the worry out of self-opening attachments, and prevents viruses from entering a user's system." Additional Features Mailbox Filter has been designed with additional features that enhance overall product functionality and ease-of-use, including:
