Triumvirate Technologies Announces Release of New Mailbox Filter Version 1.9

Increasingly Popular Anti-Email Virus and Junk Mail Filtering System Automatically Protects Users Against All Unwanted and Dangerous (Nimda/SirCam) Email and Attachments

Los Angeles, CA - October 8, 2001 - Triumvirate Technologies, Inc. today announced the
release of Mailbox FilterTM Version 1.9, with increased installation speed, customization
options and enhanced virus neutralization processes and automatic run configurations.

"We're continuing to get tremendously favorable feedback from our customers on how
effective Mailbox Filter is as a solution to unwanted junk mail and, even more important,
its ability to prevent email virus system infestation from any source at any time," says
Robert Hernandez, Triumvirate Technologies CEO. "This newest version makes the program
even easier to install and use. It's the ultimate weapon in the fight against spam and
virus attacks."

Mailbox Filter Version 1.9 features include improved button controls which increase
system efficiency, enhanced auto-run features, enhanced how-to sections that make
finding things easier, revised tutorial sequences with faster and more immediate access,
and a built-in troubleshooting system that not only tells users there is a problem,
but what that problem is.

"Mailbox Filter is a highly-sophisticated program that's been designed with the average
user in mind," says Hernandez. "It's extremely intuitive and can be personalized to
meet anyone's needs."

More About Mailbox Filter

Mailbox Filter allows users to create filters for sorting incoming messages based on a
number of criteria, including lists of people and companies from whom users want to
accept messages (Authorized Addresses), and those they want to block (Banned Addresses).
Users can also determine what messages they want to accept or ban based on the keywords
they contain.

Once the acceptance/rejection criteria has been established, the program automatically
sorts and sends new messages to one of four incoming mail "baskets." If a user gets
mail from someone not on an Authorized or Banned Addresses list, and the message passes
the program's junk mail filter test, it gets sent to an Unknown folder where it can be
safely previewed before being accepted.

All incoming mail is also setup to be viewed by users in a completely protected
environment that neutralizes potentially harmful messages and prevents attachments
from self-opening. After the user determines that an attachment is safe, it can be
reactivated.

Compatibility

Mailbox Filter works with Windows 95/98/NT and Windows 2000 Pro with Service Pack 2
or greater, and is compatible will all Windows POP/SMTP email programs and client
applications such as Eudora, Netscape and Outlook.
